ARRIVAL


Monday 27 November. Participants arriving on Monday are expected for lunch.

1. By train. Destination: Chambéry station, served by TGV Paris-Milan, Frecciarossa Paris-Milan.

A shuttle bus will run from Chambery to Aussois on Monday 27 November at around 10.15am from the Chambéry bus station.

This shuttle will also stop at Modane station at around 11.30am (the time needed to get there from Chambery), but please note: since the landslide near Modane on 27 August, Modane station is not accessible by train. A Chambéry-Modane connection is provided by bus by the SNCF. The date of resumption of SNCF traffic is announced without certainty for Nov 1st. Please refer to the SNCF website for the latest informations.

2. By car.  Take the A43 motorway to Modane, go through the town, then follow the signs for Aussois. The Centre Paul Langevin is signposted from the centre of the village of Aussois (the Centre overlooks the village).

If possible, car-share.

Return on Thursday 30 November.  The sessions are due to finish at 12 noon.

A shuttle bus from Aussois to Chambéry train station is planned, departure from the Cenre Paul Langevin at 1pm, for about 2 h bus trip. We advise to take trains from Chambéry departing after 15h15.

For the organization and the budget of the GDR, it is important that you indicate in your registration form your presence in the 2 shuttles (outward and return).
